Course of Events in the SARS-CoV-2 Pandemic (Germany)

2019

In December 2019, the appearance of a new coronavirus in the Chinese megacity of Wuhan is announced. The outbreak probably happened already in September.

2020

January 2020: Christian Drosten’s working group at the Charité hospital in Berlin develops a PCR test (Corman-Drosten PCR) for diagnosing an infection on the basis of known gene sequences of coronaviruses. Later, the specifications of the PCR are criticized – and so is the method itself, since its developer, Cary Mullis, described it already in the 1980s as diagnostically unsuitable. At the same time, in January, the development of an RNA-based vaccine begins at the Mainz-based company BioNTech, which has not yet brought out a marketable product in its roughly ten years of existence.

On Jan. 27, the first infection is officially detected in Germany. In January and February 2020, the new pathogen is classified as only moderately dangerous in Europe by politicians such as Jens Spahn. The population gets reassured.

In March 2020, the government begins with the corona policy. O-Ton Merkel: “It is serious. Take it seriously, too. Not since German unity, no, not since World War II has there been a challenge to our country where it depends so much on our acting together in solidarity.” On March 22, the first nationwide quarantine, dubbed a “lockdown,” is declared, suspending basic rights on the grounds of sanitation. Except for stores that sell daily necessities (groceries, drugstores, gas stations), nearly all businesses are forced to close. The dying, the seriously ill and senior citizens in need of care in homes may no longer be visited by relatives and friends.

April 2020: The mayor of Jena, Thomas Nitzsche, is the first in Germany to introduce compulsory wearing of masks. All other cities, the federal states and passenger transport providers quickly follow. The “R-value” (reproduction) of the viral infection is cited as one of the most important justifications for such measures. Later, people switch to “incidence.” Both metrics are controversial because they are based on PCR testing and therefore only reflect the number of infections, not the number of detected illnesses.

May 2020: on May 4, the first lockdown ends after seven weeks. On May 8, a senior official in Unit KM4 (Crisis Management, Division 4) at the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Stephan Kohn, sent out an 83-page letter internally titled “Results of the Internal Evaluation of Corona Crisis Management.” In it, he shows that the government’s Corona measures are doing far more damage than they are averting, quote, “Millions of years of life are being lost.” The report reached the public through unknown channels and was discussed in the Bundestag. The author was suspended from duty.

June 2020: Health Minister Jens Spahn explains in a video that a high number of tests automatically leads to high infection rates.

August 2020: Several very large demonstrations against the Corona measures take place in the capital – the largest on Aug. 01. On Aug. 29, police break up another gathering with violence.

October 2020: Health Minister Jens Spahn urges citizens to reduce the number of contacts on TV on 10/23 in the morning. In the evening, he visits a large fundraising dinner in Leipzig, where mandatory masks and minimum distances are openly disregarded. It is not the only case of Spahn and other top politicians breaking the rules. For example, restaurants in the Bundestag and some state parliaments remain open despite lockdowns.

November 2020: On 02.November another full quarantine is declared and called “Lockdown light”.

2021

January 2021: On January 6, the quarantine is switching to a “hard lockdown”. Nationwide vaccinations with active ingredients based on mRNA and DNA begin despite only conditional emergency approval – manufacturers cannot be held liable for vaccine damage. No classical full vaccines based on destroyed or weakened viruses are approved in Europe.

February 2021: Roland Wiesendanger publishes his study on the origin of the Corona SARS2 virus, concluding that it is most likely a germ released from the Wuhan laboratory. The virologist Christian Drosten, who is close to politics and journalism, then attacks the Hamburg physicist insultingly (“extreme character”). In the USA, emails are leaked at about the same time in which Drosten and Anthony Fauci, among others, appear as authors. According to them, it was well known that the Corona SARS-2 virus could have come from the laboratory. It also turns out that Fauci and Drosten had promoted Gain-of-Function Research on viruses. Fauci is forced to testify before a Senate investigating committee a year later. Drosten, on the other hand, later sues Wiesendanger and achieves partial success.

March 2021: On March 1, the economically hard-hit hairdressers are allowed to reopen. Further relaxations are always dependent on various Corona tests (PCR, rapid tests). Many private test centers are springing up in the country, whose billing, as it later turns out, is very often wrong. The center operators earn enormous sums; the same applies to vaccination doctors in practices and centers.

On March 24, the renewed hard lockdown at Easter planned by Chancellor Merkel is overturned by the resistance of the state premiers – the dislike of the population is too great.

May 2021: On May 9, vaccinated and recovered people will have their basic rights restored, but will have to carry proof documents with QR codes with them at all times when visiting restaurants and cinemas. The 3G and 2G rules in the country are enforced: “recovered-vaccinated-tested”.

June 2021: About half of the population has been vaccinated with a dose of RNA or DNA product. Subsequently, additional injection doses are prescribed due to the ineffectiveness of the novel agent. On 07.06. the vaccination priority for older citizens ends – now young people are also treated with DNA/RNA agents in large numbers. As a result, heart muscle inflammation or liver damage quickly appear in the vaccinated.

July 2021: On 19.07. the British government under Boris Johnson ends the Corona policy – “Freedom Day”.

August 2021: Hamburg introduces the 2G rule, which largely excludes the unvaccinated from public life. In the months that follow, politicians and officials use extremely aggressive rhetoric toward the unvaccinated. World Medical Association President Frank Montgomery speaks of a “tyranny of the unvaccinated.” Aug. 22: 3G is in effect almost everywhere in Germany – no event, restaurant or movie theater may be entered without an up-to-date test.

September 2021: The 20th Bundestag election takes place on Sept. 26. As a result, a coalition of Social Democrats, Liberals and Greens (“traffic light”) is formed. The new government discusses general compulsory vaccination against Corona. Karl Lauterbach becomes Minister of Health (Dec. 6).

October 2021: Almost 80 percent of adults are vaccinated.

November 2021: The mild Corona-Sars2 variant “Omikron” emerges in South Africa and spreads rapidly across the planet. It is – as expected – much more infectious, but also much less pathogenic.

December 2021: Resistance among the population to the discussed general compulsory vaccination grows – and this despite the mass media’s refusal to report the countless and sometimes severe side effects of the genetically engineered vaccines. Even in small towns in western Germany, and almost everywhere in the east, demonstrations are held with surprisingly large numbers of participants, usually on Mondays. By the beginning of 2022, the number of weekly demonstrations will reach about 2,200 – even though Germany has only 2,000 cities. Despite their large numbers, the participants are vilified by the media, politicians and activists as right-wing extremists. There are cases of significant police violence against vaccination critics, which are sharply criticized by a UN observer in Berlin.

2022

January 2022: On Jan. 12, the German parliament passes the 2G+ rule for restaurant visits. On January 17, the RKI arbitrarily reduces the convalescent status to only three months; in Europe, at least six months otherwise apply. The change, probably decided by Chief Wieler without consultation with Minister Lauterbach, is criticized by the Marburger Bund and even declared unconstitutional by a court.

February 2022: On 07.02., Minister President Söder announces that he will not implement compulsory vaccination for healthcare workers in Bavaria. The alternative vaccine “Novavax”, which contains no genetic engineering but only a virus protein produced in culture cells, is approved and offered in Germany. However, demand remains low – it has already become known that Novavax contains problematic active enhancers from aluminum ions.

March 2022: Minister Lauterbach announces a Corona summer wave, which critics immediately call absurd and alarmist. March 16: Facility-based mandatory vaccination for healthcare workers comes into force.

April 2022: Almost all Corona measures are abolished. Karl Lauterbach immediately withdraws relaxations of quarantine regulations after attacks by supporters of tough corona measures on Twitter. Wearing of masks in stores etc. is no longer legally obligatory; on trains and public transport, however, it remains so.
